Q & A With Rolando What is the very first VW you owned? my first vw was a 1968 bug Your currently driving a 67 bus, how did you acquire it? I did buy it from a friend of my What's your favorite thing about your 67? the way it looks very low What have you done to it since you got it? I added a front roof rack,new complete front suspension with disc brakes,clean and paint the under body,new pro street transmission new wiring,new berg shifter,auto meter gages,new master cylinder,all new brake system,new merge header and muffler,new safari windows,new seals etc. What vw's have you owned? 1968 vw bug,1967 dlx 13 windows (lost on a fire),1965 11 windows (still own) 1967 dlx 13 windows (still own). How did you get intrested in VW's? when I was about 5 years old my father had a 1954 oval window and I remember liking vws since then. Obviously your a bus guy, why do you prefer bus'? I like buses because the way they look and remind me of the 60`s when I grew up. Your thoughts on the VW scene today? I think that the vw seen is growing every day and you see a lot of nicer cars. Whats your favorite vw show? I like all the shows. Is there any new vw's in your future? in the future I will like to buy a camper bus or a 23 windows. Are VW's a hobby or Lifestyle? for me vws are a life style. Most memorable vw momment- too many. A perfect day in my vw is.....every time I drive it.
