Membership
Information for Der Strand Steudten Kafers Der
Strand Steudten Kafers VW Club is not for everyone- each member
is expected to show a high level of commitement to the club,
members, and events. We are not a club that you show up to for
the first time, give us club dues, and your in the club with our
sticker on your Dub. To become a member you must first become
a prospective one and go through an observation period. We do
this because we need to get to know you and what your about.
When you have our club sticker's on your Dub you are
represtenting us as a whole. Der Strand Steudten Kafers
was founded by a close group of friends who enjoy wrenching
together, cruising, and having fun with our Dubs. We have
no intention of being a big club where no one knows each other. Our
club has a zero tolerance policy for illegal and disruptive
behavior. The membership process is simple: You
need to contact a Club Officer or DSSK Member and let us
know you are interested. Participation is one of the main
ingredients we are looking for in new members. Start
showing up to cruise's, events, and hanging out with us
and getting to know club members. After
a period of 3-6 months Club Officers and members will
make a decision to grant or deny you membership. If the
decision is made to allow you to join Der Strand Steudten Kafers, you will be informed
immediately. Prior to the next function you will review
and sign the club by-laws with Club Officers. Once you have paid
your initial dues, your car will be stickered and you will be an
Official Member. Dues are due semi-annually from that point forward
on January and June 1st each year.
